Memorable Teambuilding
I'm so happy. Elated. Ecstatic.
My team and I were finally able to push through with our teambuilding. Although there were no plans to it I think it went pretty well.
Had a fantabulous time as well since my friend Josh decided to tag along. Impromptu?!? Haha. I appreciate that he went with my team even if he didn't have any clothes to bring since the teambuilding was an overnight event. Good thing I was able to lend him shorts. He was also able to get along with my team!
I'm glad as well of the 3-4 hour talk we had after we got drunk?!? Did we just have that looooong conversation? Haha.Wow. I was able to get to know this great friend of mine more than what he was supposed to share and for that I'm truly honored and blessed. A big thank you.
You told me you had such a great time and I'm glad you did. I hope my technicians had a great time as well. Thanks to Olrac for being so prepared. Aki and Louis for their vehicles. Tofu for his antics. The rest of the team for their participation.
After the teambuilding which started on march 27 and ended on the afternoon of the 28th, Josh and I watched a movie 2nd time for me to watch How to Train Your Dragon. Talk about spontaneity! Had a great time chatting after the movie and having one of the BesTest (?!?!) days of my life.
Thank You!!!!

Humpty Dumpty Save Me
I've always loved Aimee Mann and her unique take on music pertaining to isolation, depression, and (lost?) Love. My favorite song from her would always be SAVE ME but sometimes I discover songs from her previous albums that fit perfectly with the mood I may be having. Perhaps this song is for someone I know...
Here's the lyrics to HUMPTY DUMPTY:
Say you were split, you were split in fragments
And none of the pieces would talk to you
Wouldn't you want to be who you had been
Well baby I want that too
So better take the keys and drive forever
Staying won't put these futures back together
All the perfect drugs and superheros
Wouldn't be enough to bring me up to zero
Baby, I bet you've been more than patient
Saying it's not a catastrophe
But I'm not the girl you once put your faith in
Just someone who looks like me
So better take the keys and drive forever
Staying won't put these futures back together
All the perfect drugs and superheros
Wouldn't be enough to bring me up to zero
So get out while you can
Get out while you can
Baby I'm pouring quick sand
And sinking is all I have planned
So better just go
Oh, better take the keys and drive forever
Staying won't put these futures back together
All the perfect drugs and superheros
Wouldn't be enough to bring me up to zero
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put baby together again
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put baby together again

Today is a very special day. Posting this on my blog where no one actually reads. Hehe.
Finally. After 1year and 9 months I'm now a job grade higher! I got promoted! One of the most coveted job grades has been achieved by me!!! I thank God for making me so patient and for giving this truly remarkable feat that a lot of my peers have aspired to achieve. From a job grade of B3 I am now a C1. Sarap ng feeling. This means a lot of challenges and expectations for me. I hope I won't disappoint. Thank you to all those who wished for this and who really believed in me. I appreciate your continued support and for trusting me to have this promotion. Thanks to the senior management team and to my boss Richee. I know I'm a pain at times but thanks for being my advocate. Roche Bulan, thank you for the truthfulness and the pieces of advise that you give me when I'm almost about to give up.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I just love this song. Simple but effective. Brings different emotions to me.
Aimee Mann Just Like Anyone Lyrics:
So maybe I wasn't
that good a friend
but you were one of us
and I will wonder
just like anyone
if there was something
else I could've done
[ Find more Lyrics on http://ping.fm/SoclS ]
So maybe it's true that
your cry for help
was oh, so very faint
but still I heard
and knew something was wrong
just nothing you could
put your finger on
and I will wonder
just like anyone
just like anyone

Just a thought after watching Lost... Could this Ben description from EW.com be ME(?): Benjamin Linus: unappreciated, unloved, and unwanted. He has spent most of his entire misbegotten existence hustling to secure and maintain a toe hold in the world, improvising his relevance and significance to the narrative of life that he worries would otherwise neglect him and forget him and leave him behind.

My 1st ever Organized Run
Event: Unilab Run United for Wellness
When: March 7, 2010
Where: The Fort
I feel accomplished and blessed.
Joining this event was probably one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Again, I thank JAMIE for introducing me to this lifestyle. Really, you deserve the credit I am giving to you. :)
Supposedly, the Globe Run for Home would be my 1st official run but last week when I heard that there were still slots open for the Unilab Run, I immediately thought: Why not try for the 5K 1st? That should be a good opportunity for me to train myself further. In any case, the Unilab Run would only be a week away. When I got there, I was surprised to find that there were no slots available anymore for the 5k Run. Only 10k was left. For a minute or two I contemplated and asked myself if I was ready.
I informed the lady: Ok, I'll register for the 10k run. For a moment I caught bewilderment and apprehension from the eyes of the woman on the other side of the table. Probably she was thinking: Ang kapal naman ng taong ito magregister for 10k!
With only a week to spare I trained really hard for this event. I knew I could do it. I knew it would be difficult. I knew I would succeed but never knew it would be this rewarding.
I'm glad that I joined this event - suffice to say it was very organized. I'm lucky to have been given the opportunity to be part of such an event. Kudos to those who made this Run happen.
I'm very thankful that Teoddy and Armz were also there to support me. Thanks Guys!!!
Thankful as well for having the opportunity to see familiar faces - Goodwin, Glenn, Benedict, Mari - Im so happy we saw each other there. It's been a while!
After the event, I came across Misterhubs (who was shocked that I recognized him). Pleasant introductions were exchanged.
While eating with Armz I got a call from Jamie congratulating me (HOW SWEET!!!). After which I got a call from Narnian inviting me for a breakfast with Misterhubs (can things get any sweeter than this!?!).
Watched a movie (Up in the Air) and had merienda with Misterhubs and Narnian. You guys are so funny! Ang kulit ninyo! Haha
What a day. What an event. What a way to start the week right.
Pictures are posted here: http://bit.ly/aEBSaa (I hope it's still working)
P.S. Thank you CS. You made my day on the night before the event. :D
